The other day Jacob was helping "teach" Gabe how to fold a piece of American cheese into four even squares to make the perfect Ritz, cheese, and pickle sandwich. He turned to me and said, "isn't it funny that I am smaller than Gabe but I know how to so something that he doesn't know how to do?" I explained to him that we all have talents and it is good to share with others..and Gabe has many he shares with you (Jake). Jake's face lit up and he turned to me and declared with authority..."Dad, that means that I have 2 talents...I can fold American cheese and I can count to 100!" Jake...you forgot to mention that you know how to make your Dad laugh...

I love the shot of Jacob, I hear you about talking to the younger brothers about their talents. Andrew really has a tough time with how well Caleb is reading. I tell Andrew that he just needs to practice it like Caleb has to practice sports and it seems to help.
Dan, you crack me up. I love that you have your own blog. The stories of the boys are so funny. Keep 'em coming. Yeah, I wish the little pups would stay that size too.
