A real man

So, a number of recent experiences has left we with a desire for a gun. Why you might ask...for protection, to enhance my manly nature...sure felt like there were some pretty good reasons before but anyway... After a lot of thinking and looking, I came to the harsh reality that I wasn't going to be able to afford one right now, especially considering that my tastes seemed to edge towards the more expensive stuff. So, to appease my appetite, I found the following at the local big box...and Laurie is still laughing at me. Yes, it is a BB gun replica of a Beretta 92fs 9mm handgun. And I spent an hour in the garage shootin' holes in a cardboard box feeling quite satisfied with my purchase. I walked back into the house and Laurie turned to me, with a funny little smile on her face as if she were talking to one of the boys and asked if I had fun out there... Yes I did. And plan to tomorrow night as well.

That is awesome! Just don't shoot your eye out! Especially when you're playing in your garage!

Nothing says manly more than "kapowee!" Just kiddin Dan. Aaron has an airsoft gun (plastic pellets) that looks like an uzi or something; fun stuff. He actually has real ones too - not an uzi - but the airsoft gets a lot more use than anything else. Cheaper ammo. You could probably point that thing at an intruder and have it serve the same purpose, to strike fear into the intruder's heart!

Dan...I'm very disappointed in you. If you wanted a gun all you had to do was ask...we could have worked something out, not my 6th child obviously, but I have a .357 revolver you could borrow.

I think I have the same gun. Mine is a few years older...I used to go on campus with my friends from college and do something similar to paintball. It was fun, but it mostly collects dust now.

We have a Red Ryder and it has become quite useful in ridding our garage of unwanted chipmunks!!! A handheld would make it much easier though, hmmm!
